At EduRipple, your time is currency.
We await your growth as a civic leader.
When you volunteer with EduRipple, you help shape a world that understands placing faith in each child as necessary to sustaining democracy. You’ll grow as a civic leader whilst initiating ripple effects that change how children see themselves and their potential, shifting our culture’s perspective of what education can and should be.
Internships
Website
We are seeking a tech-savvy intern to help improve EduRipple’s website with our vision and their suggestions in mind. We’re specifically seeking an intern well-versed in technical implementation and design, who can help create our educational resource compilation page.
Fundraising
Embark on an impactful internship with EduRipple, where you can take the reins of a project, either one of your own creation or already established. We welcome a diverse range of skill sets, encompassing technical, media, art, music, business, marketing, and data analysis. This opportunity is more than a resume booster; it's the chance to engage with global professionals, develop valuable connections, and enjoy the autonomy to shape your work domain.
Social Media
If you’re knowledgeable of popular social media trends, can easily navigate various social media platforms, have a passion for marketing, and design talent, we’d love to have you join us as our social media intern. You will publicize EduRipple’s events, team members, accomplishments, and partnerships.
Journalism
Collaboration lies at the heart of EduRipple’s mission. Through strategic partnerships, we aim to broaden our impact, secure both monetary and in-kind resources, and increase public awareness of our work. We are seeking interns to help cultivate partnerships with schools, community organizations, family foundations, and corporations.
We are developing an annual compilation of student-reported stories that examine how educational decisions are made and experienced on the ground—from Department of Education initiatives and district-level restructuring in Cleveland to the everyday school policies that quietly shape student life. We believe student journalism plays a vital role in documenting these realities. By centering diverse perspectives and grounding them in rigorous, objective reporting, this project brings visibility to underreported stories that sit at the heart of school communities. If you have experience as an editor or staff writer for a school newspaper, we would welcome your leadership in shaping the first edition of our digital publication.
Partnerships
We are preparing to launch an international literary and arts magazine dedicated to creative writing, short fiction, poetry, photography, and visual art. This project requires a multidimensional skill set—ranging from outreach and editorial review to organizing writing forums, cultivating relationships with contributors, and amplifying their work through thoughtful social media curation. If you are drawn to creative direction and bring diligence, organization, and persistence in communication, we would be excited to have you help shape and launch this inaugural issue.
Art
To advance EduRipple’s mission, fundraising and grant development are essential. These efforts sustain ongoing projects, enable in-person engagement, and support multiple initiatives as they grow in scale and visibility. Prior experience in fundraising or grant writing is not required. We are excited to welcome committed team members and will provide hands-on training in pitching, narrative development, and navigating nationally competitive nonprofit funding opportunities.

Lead Where You Are
Start a Chapter at Your School
If you’re a high school student interested in contributing to our vision, we encourage you to begin an EduRipple chapter at your school. By gathering a group of peers to mentor younger students at your local elementary and middle school, you will develop relationships that engender growth beyond grades and test scores. You’ll work alongside local community leaders, serve on a youth board, and help plan events and activities that foster character, curiosity, and confidence to benefit both you and the students you mentor. By helping younger kids discover their passions and sense of purpose, you’ll be contributing to a holistic, cyclical model of education that places real faith in young people and cultivates a society that values education as a pathway to meaningful impact. Email us today, and we’ll discuss next steps!
Let Us Hear You
If you attend a public school, you can also choose to contribute to our “Waiting To Be Heard” video journalism series, a student-led effort to challenge the dominant narrative—pushed by parents, politicians, and administrators over students’ voices—that public schools are failing. By creating and sharing videos about your experiences and ideas, you’ll help elevate student voices and contribute to our society’s perspective of public education as a fundamental part of the common good. In creating videos by students because of students, with students, and for students, your voice will reshape the story of education and create a culture of investing in students as leaders, thinkers, and contributors. You will also have the chance to be featured and heard across the state of Ohio and beyond!
Support the Mission
If you are considering a financial contribution, we would be grateful for your support. Contributions can take many forms, from establishing a named scholarship to supporting EduRipple’s programs and operations. We welcome the opportunity to work with you to ensure your support is directed toward what you find most meaningful, aligning your values with our mission and making your story part of ours.
Partner With Us
If you’re a nonprofit—emerging or established—a corporation, advocacy group, youth-led organization, or giving foundation, we’d love to work with you on cross-promotion campaigns, sponsorships, collaborative in-person or virtual events, and more. If you’re a school administrator or educator and believe our mission aligns with your philosophy, we’d love to talk about bringing EduRipple to your school!
Imagine yourself showing up in other ways?

We encourage our volunteers to leverage any skills they have in their contributions to our missions. If the roles listed above don’t encapsulate how you see yourself at EduRipple, feel free to reach out with how you see yourself fitting.
